How the ECO F works
The inside of the catalyst consists of a patented mixture of metallic alloys that, when exposed to fuels, causes a temporary catalytic conversion that can last for several days, depending on a number of environmental variables.
Specifically, the fuel catalyst can extract hydrogen atoms from different fuel components, thereby changing the composition of the fuel. Oxygen is present when the catalyst is exposed to the fuel and oxygenated compounds that can burn more efficiently are produced. The selective removal of hydrogen and, or addition, of oxygen, to the hydrogen components of fuel gives rise to the creation of reformed fuel species at room temperature.
This ability to remove hydrogen atoms from specific sites is a key to the enhancement of the fuel; giving rise to coupling to form larger hydrocarbons; the ability to introduce oxygen gives rise to the formation of oxygenates. This activity leads to the production of new types of bonds – providing for the enhanced combustion from the hydrocarbon fuel feedstock.

Molecular Structure of Fuel affects combustion
The structure of a Hydrocarbon (HC) molecule affects how it performs in a combustion chamber. Numerous independent studies have demonstrated that straight molecules, ring molecules, and highly branched molecules behave differently in the combustion process.
The catalyst alters the structure of HC molecules and this is the primary reason the presence of a fuel catalyst can change an engine’s performance in terms of fuel economy and emissions. Aromatics are fuel molecules that contain at least one benzene ring. Their presence influences combustion and negatively influences the formation of particulates (PM) and oxides of nitrogen (NOx).

Installation of the ECO F
All installations must be completed and certified by an appropriate professional, as required by the industries standard regulations and legislation relevant to the specific installation type. It is a matter for the purchaser of the unit to engage the appropriate installer.
To ensure maximum performance from the ECO F unit, it may be necessary for the installer, after a period of operation, to adjust the air / fuel flow rates to compensate for the enhancement to the fuel and minimise emissions. All adjustments must be completed in accordance with the equipment OEM’s safety and tolerance standards.
